All your hard work has definitely paid off! You are a huge inspiration to me as I am facing close to the same numbers. I cannot wait to feel the freedom of being healthy and hopefully getting rid of some of the side effects of my PCOS. Great job

  8. Thanks so much for the advice and will do for sure...I figured as much that first food then exercise cause stalls do indeed suck from what I've read...I started chewable biotin for the hair loss, did you do anything to help minimize it if you even had any to begin with?
    Again many thanks
  9. Wow you really look amazing...what did you do for work out? I'm 4 days away and very anxious...again an inspiration

Your blog about training and eating like an athlete really spoke to me. Every night I struggle with starting my excercise. I ride a recumbent bike because I have a knee problem. The first 10 minutes is torture mentally - but then I can go through the next 20 minutes without a problem. After reading your post, I have a whole different perspective. I am an athlete. I may never run a 5K or bike 100 miles or climb a mountain - but I can still be an athlete. Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts. This has really make a big difference in how I will view things. I'm 6 weeks out and I believe that your comments will help me succeed. Again - thanks for sharing - Bonnie

5 years and 202lbs GONE!!! Loving life 😍

by Mommysoup on 04-06-2017 at 05:49 PM

"The prevalence of class III obesity (body mass index BMI 40+) currently affects 6% of adults in the US, with uncertain impact on the risks of illness and death. Using data gathered for 15 years these groups of individuals see only a 1% success rate of long term weight loss using bypass surgeries."
I remember 5 years ago reading this and thinking well my BMI IS 67.5 I might be screwed😫😫😫 I prayed like I have never

by Mommysoup on 03-02-2016 at 09:26 PM
Dear 318 me,
Thank you isn't enough. Yes, you were sad, unhappy, confused, frustrated, uncomfortable, but you were so brave. Bravery is the only thing I needed!!! As I sit here and reflect the past 4 years I'm so happy that 318lb. me was brave enough to ask for help. To bravely go to another country and get help. I'm so happy that you chose health, you chose you. Even though you were scared that you might not succeed I thank you for taking that leap of faith. If I could go back today and

Train as though your an athlete!!! Not just an overweight person needing to lose weight!!!!

by Mommysoup on 07-09-2014 at 06:39 PM
I get asked all the time how I have lost ALL my weight, inches and have gained muscle and leaned myself out!! I really have given months of thought about this and I had a friend tell me how well I have been doing and today I told her I train as an athlete. "I AM AN ATHLETE!" When I go to the gym I just don't workout I TRAIN myself to be stronger, endure longer, lift harder, sweat more!!!
On march 24th 2012 at 280lbs was the day I decided I was going to NEVER going back and
