YAY!!! Awesome! We are rockin' the sleeve! I feel so great! I have a lot more to lose, but am feeling great none-the-less. How much did you want to lose total? I'm a third of the way to my goal. I am not watching my calories, fat or carbs. I know I need to. I'm basically just eating 3 meals a day from my approved meal list from my doctor. I'm trying to get in my 2 protein shakes a day, but it's rough. I was being bad about it and had a one week stall in weight loss, started them up again and lost... so I think my body needs the shakes. I hate them but just do it. I'm technically still on mushies until my 6 week post-op nutrition appointment (which will be at my 7 week point actually). I am probably going to start using myfitnesspal.com as well. I'm trying to walk as much as I can as well, 2-3 miles when I get a chance (which has only been twice a week or so). I think I'd have lost a heck of a lot more if I were able to exercise more, but I'm working on it. My work schedule gets crazy, so I try to walk more at work when that happens! LOL! I love Zumba, isn't it a great workout!?

Congratulations on shopping at Old Navy! I know just how you feel about buying clothes that won't fit you in a month, but it feels great to buy something smaller! LOL!

Hello!! Just checking in with you.... have you started soft foods yet? I have advanced to solid food now and eating alot of chicken, shrimp and fish. I finally updated my profile and got a picture up there..... The loss has been a little slow, but I hope to rev it up by going to the gym. It's exciting when I see people and they comment on my weight loss.... it's only been 2 weeks! Hope everything is going well for you too!

Hello! Thanks for checking on me. I'm feeling fantastic! Just started mushy foods and was able to eat dinner with my family tonight for the first time in a month. I've had such a good recovery. I feel blessed. How are you???

So happy for you!! 9 lbs down- yay!!! I've lost 10lbs since surgery and 20 total including the pre op diet. Today is the first day I felt sick and like I ate too much- my doctor advanced me to soft food and I either ate too much (even though I ate less than half a cup of cottage cheese) or ate too fast. No dizziness or anything else going on. Feeling pretty good actually. Glad you're doing well. Keep me posted on your progress! Thanks for checking in with me :-)

Hello, Sonia here. Saw your post on hair loss. Think it would be best to start the Biotin asap. Don't wait until you start losing your hair. It is tramatic, especially for females. I know 7 women who's had weight loss surgery and all but one had significant hair loss. You can see it. Just a tip.

Hope everything went well with your surgery. Fill me in when you can! I'm home resting now and trying to get in my liquids, not in too much pain except for occasional gas pains.
