My Insurance would not pay for WLS either. Forest Park Medical Center is a VERY Posh Place. It was amazing and the staff was friendly and very helpful. I even had the pleasure of staying in a suite, without having to pay extra for it.

Thanks for the info! I am seriously considering the sleeve-although I am a lil scared. I have insurance, but they will not cover WLS. BTW, I have been researching online and that Forest Park Medical place looks pretty posh...very modern. I truly appreciate your input. Your info is sooo helpful. Once I get the balls to call Dr. Gonzalez's office, I'll let you know what they tell me.

Question.... My surgery is scheduled for Friday. I have to do a cleanse tomorrow. I really, really want to go out to eat one last time with my family. Is it a big NO - NO? Or do any of you think it would be okay? I have stuck to this liquid diet like glue. I just had this urge to go out one last time. Thoughts??? Your input would be appreciated.

Good, I am happy that someone else on here has Dr. Gonzalez as their Dr. I am very Nervous and excited. I go in for my pre-op appointment today. I hope the 12lbs I have lost is enough for him to say YES. I am definately having the surgery. If you do not mind me asking, how much weight have you lost in the month since your surgery? I am just curious. I know everyone is different. I just want to get a feel for exactly what to expect. Thanks so much for the message.
