  1. It's now been a bit less than 5 months since my sleeve. Over 50 pounds GONE and still more to come :-) I have more energy, I walk and swim with relative ease, wearing clothes I haven't been able to get near for years. Bought some pants and blouses yesterday: went from XXXL to XL and 24 to 16/18! WOW WOW WOW
  2. Day 10 postOp:
Doing surprisingly GREAT! Being very careful to stay on the prescribed "foods" only. No reflux, thankfully and very little discomfort. Off pain killers as of today. No hunger related cravings, just the expected desire for something tasty to chew on. But I enjoy my protein shakes and they are filling. Yogurt is a bit iffy but skim milk in shakes doesn't bother me. The occassional warm broth is very satisfying, flavorwise. Never been a fan of jello. But pudding is delightful. Looking forward to pureed FOOD. 20 pounds down - I wore a blouse to work I have attempted for eons :-)
  3. 5th day postop and no real probs! About 15 pounds down (WOW!). Sloooow to get up and move. Not too sore today. Cutting way back on the tramadol. Adding plain yogurt has been nice. The flavored ones don't sit so well, maybe it's the bits of strawberry. Mixed a little creamy peanut butter into my 0% fat plain Greek and was like a rich mousse. Very filling. Love the broth and popsicles. Not a fan of jello but the pudding makes me happy. And I'm a huge fan of the protein shakes. Easy to find even in regular grocery stores and a pretty tasty way to get lots of protein. I try to avoid seeing others eating their yummy things, and right now just about everything looks yummy :-) I never notice before just how many commercials are about food - yikes!! Ala and all: I'm VERY glad I did this.
