Hi Jackie, My scheduled date for my sleeve is the 23rd of this month. I am a little nervous. I too have Dr. Yu and I think he is great. Any advise to make things easier would be helpful.

Hi bmooney, that's great news! I'm glad I could help. It is kinda slow going, but your body needs that time to heal. I told Dr Yu everything I felt; good bad and ugly. I did a diary too. I'm coming up on my 1 year sugeryvesary!! I'm so so happy that I had my surgery. Three months after my surgery, I started walking. I started 30 mins then 45 mins then 1 hour. As I kept pushing myself, I was up to 5 miles per day 5 days per week. I think the walking did the trick; as I'm off both my blood pressure meds. Wishing you the best, Jackie.

Hi Jazzy, I had my surgery on july 10 in Houston. Dr. Yu did it. I really like him too. I have lost 46lbs. Seems like it is slow going, but I would be gaining if not for the surgery. There are several of Dr. Yu' patients on here and I have never heard one bad word about him. Good talking to you.

Oh yea. He's good. The office personnel is good too. So far, I lost 65 lbs. I wish u good luck and excellent health.

Omg! Today and most of yesterday was a mess. I could not stand the sight
or taste of the protein shakes. I did the best that I could without giving
in to that feeling that I must throw up. When I woke up this morning, I felt
so weak. I know it's Because I could not get in enough protein. Today, it took me 45 mins to
get my second shake down. I walked and tried to distract that up-shuck
feeling. The water has turned on me too. But, I'm ready to fight and I'm
not going to give in, but teach my body that it needs this.
