Just wishing you the best on Monday!! Just had my surgery with Dr. Alvarez and I couldn't have dreamed that it could go any better. I am feeling great and my whole experience in Piedras Negras was wonderful! He is an amazing doctor. You made a good decision! All the best and here is to a speedy recovery! Keep us posted!

Thanks Jamie for stopping by. It really does mean a lot to know so many people are wishing you well. I'm doing really well. I'm able to get all of my liquids in but the protein is another story completely since i'm on clear liquids for a week which doesn't include shakes. I hope its okay to go with out protein for a week. I don't have any regrets and as of this morning i'm down nine pounds since surgery.

Hi where are you from in Texas? I'm from Newton and Beaumont but I'll be moving to Houston soon. Just had my surgery with Dr. Almanza and it went great.

Dr.Alvarez was my surgeon as well and im glad I chose him! I am 5 months out and have lost 63lbs I feel GREAT! I am so happy for you! welcome to the group,bet you've never been so happy to be a" looser"!!!!
