Pure Protein Pure Protein - Eat Good. Look Great. Available at Trader Joe's, Target, Walmart. I prefer the chocolate, but the vanilla is okay, too.

protein

by nootsiebell on 08-23-2012 at 10:21 AM
HELP! My hair is falling out and I know that it's because I don't get enough protein. I have a hard time eating meats, the protein shakes make me sick, I have an egg every morning but I don't know what else I can eat. (I don't like fish) Any ideas? I am 5 months out now and am feeling discouraged. I've only lost 40 lbs since the surgery but I am unable to exercise much because of a back injury. I've lost inches everywhere but my belly, that won't go down.
Any advise is welcome

Not losing enough

by nootsiebell on 05-18-2012 at 12:02 PM
Ok so I had my sleeve done on 3/26 and I have only lost 22 lbs since my surgery date. WHY????? I am beginning to wonder if it was worth it. I read all these posts from people saying that they've lost all this weight and I can't help but wonder what I'm doing wrong. What the heck is wrong with me?

What the heck!

by nootsiebell on 04-05-2012 at 05:27 PM
OK I am 10 days out from surgery and not having much trouble with drinking my full liquid diet. I have been reading some of the blogs and someone said that she is 2 weeks out and have lost 25 lbs. I have only lost 10 lbs. . Am I the only one out there that is not losing weight very fast? I have been SO hungry for pizza but I haven't given in to the urge. Can't wait till I can have a bite.

Finally done with the surgery

by nootsiebell on 03-29-2012 at 06:32 PM
3 days out from surgery. The procedure went ok but I had the dry weeves for the first 24 hours. Thinking to myself " what the heck was I thinking" It's better now. I wasn't expecting to have cramps in my stomach after the surg. These are not fun. I'm also afraid to have too much to drink cuz I don't want to get sick. It's hard to do the protein thing when all I can have is clear liquids for the next week. Can't wait to start seeing results.

getting excited

OK...I started on my pre-op diet of protein shakes for 2 meals and protein and veggies for the last meal. My problem is, the protein shakes make me gag. My doc had me pick up protein powder from Wal Mart and all they had was vanilla, choc and peanut butter flavored. I got the vanilla but when I add it to water it's nasty. It says you can add it to any drink but I can't bring myself to add it to iced tea Can I add them to Carnation Instant breakfast to cover up the taste? ANY suggestions are
