Hi Karon, I stalled in my 2 week as well, earlier in the second week I lost 1 pound and it stayed that way for about 2 weeks and then I lost an additional 4 pounds and stalled again for about a week and then today exactly one month post op I lost another 2 pounds. I started at 243 and I am now down to 222 which is 21 pounds total in one month. It will happen but I have found that its slower than I thought it would but in a way I am happy with that because any faster would be too fast for me. Make sure you get all your protein in and as much water as you can. Honestly, I did not do the puree part of the diet but I made sure I chewed my food properly and did not drink when I ate. I also started walking last week and try to get in 30 mins a day during the week.
    Best wishes to you for the holidays and hang in there (dont watch the scale too much) and it will all happen before you know it.

    Hi. I noticed you'd stalled. I'm in my 2nd post op week and still on liquids. I lost 12lb in th first 6 days and haven't budged an ounce since. It's so disheartening as I'm taking in only between 600-700 cals a day. How long did you stall for before you started losing again?

Okay, so for those of you who knew that I was having a mini breakdown over my first stall post surgery...I started walking 30 mins a day and the scale is moving. 2 pounds on Wednesday and this morning another 2 pounds. Okay, so now I get it. Our bodies will stall for a while (I guess to recalculate and whatever else it does) and then move on again. I am happy and I enjoy the exercising so much. Well, I weighed today and found that I lost 1 pound during my second week so now a total of 14 pounds. I am happy that I lost 1 more pound but sad that I cheated during my two weeks....I ate chicken, veggies and fish. Maybe if I had not cheated I would have lost more...but I am going to try harder this week. This is day one of week 3 and I am now on pureed or soft foods and I am going to try harder to stay on track. Does anyone know if I can now start exercising or not??
