Well I stalled alittle. Not the surgery's fault but mine. I was eating alot of bad things. Still down quite a bit. 268 to 190! I feel great! How are you doing?

Lost 30 lbs the first 2.5 weeks. Now been stalled for the last 4. Frustrating!

Say, since you are in Arlington, who is your surgeon? I had my surgery done at MCA in Arlington. Jason Harrison was my surgeon, and I can't say enough good things about him and his staff. I knew he was a great surgeon, because he used to be in Corsicana, and he operated on my mother-in-law. So I was so grateful to find him in Arlington. Hope all is going well with you.

Sorry, I haven't checked the forum for a couple of weeks. Since last February (my highest weight), I have lost 97 pounds. Since my surgery May 2, I have lost 86 pounds. Most of it came off very quickly the first few months, but I have been stalled out during the holidays, when I kinda backslid a little. I have redoubled my efforts since the first of the year, joined the Y, and it is starting to come off again now that I am exercising more. Still, it is coming kind of slow. I eat just about anything I want now, just can't consume the mass quantities I used to. I am hoping that I can firm up my arms and legs some with exercise, because I'm pretty flabby after almost 100 pounds gone. I can't even begin to describe how much better I feel now than a year ago. So, it has definitely been worth it for me, even if I don't ever lose another pound. Still, my next goal is to be 100 pounds less than I was on the day of my surgery by my 1-year anniversary. So, 14 pounds between now and May 2. I think that should be easily doable, don't you?

How much weight have you lost so far? Where do you live in Tx? I gre up there and have family there.

Good morning. One week post op today & minus 17.2 lbs. wOO HOOO!!! Feeling good. A little tired still. And tried some mashed potatoes last night at Christmas dinner. But didn't toleratevitbtoo well. It was too early

Going great Melissa! I hope you are doing well and not having too much discomfort. I actually did wonderful and had very little discomfort or nausea. Every day got better and better. It will be amazing how much you will improve each day. I wish you the best!! Keep us posted!!
