It's 2 weeks post op and I'm doing great! For Christmas, I was able to get down some green bean casserole and some cheesy potatoes. I even went out the other night and had 1/2 a cheese enchilada! My nurse (who also happens to be my Mother-in-law) said since I could tolerate cutting my pills, rather than crushing, I could move on to the next phase of pureed food. I made a post earlier called Day 2 Post Op, and I was feeling pretty good. No nausea and I was pumping myself full of pain meds so the pain didn't seem like that big of a deal. I was very surprised and happy...
