Thanks for checking.up...I have been in a slump The last month No weight lose at all.Im starting to feel like 69lbd in 7 months is an accomplishment.I feel like I should have lost more.will keep trying to lose more 31 lbs more to.go to reach goal.pray for me.hoping you are well and doing great.

I'm doing pretty awesome.. Down 44 lbs!!! I've felt pretty good. Works got me stressed but has kept my mind off of my surgery almost a month out already couldn't be happier. I am kinda missing the foods I used to eat but i'm trying not to think about food so much and keeping busy with other stuff. How are you?

I just got home today. I have very little pain on one incision which is the one my doc said he stitched I'm assuming it's the one he removed the stomach from. The rest of the cuts I don't feel. I'm sipin n taking my pain med every 6 hrs. He said he left my esophagus a bit tighter than reg because I have a lot of weight to drop. The experience was not bad. I'm so glad. Can't wait to see the lbs melt away lol

Hello...My name is Maria and I am new to this site...just got approved to have the sleeve done, but very scared and apprehensive at this point.
I am 5/9 and a half and weigh 225 at this time...only trying to lose down to 180 or so, but afraid if I have the surgery I would lose more than that and I do not desire to be any smaller and look like a "bean pole".
I am just curious, do you know think that I would end up losing more than I would like to.
I pray that my medical concerns will be cleared once I lose the weight, I am just concerned at this point of looking sick.
Please help if there is ANY help or guidance you can provide me with.
I currently reside in Georgia.
