Hi everyone!! I'm alive!! LOL. Haven't been on for a while. My surgery was 4/24/12 with Dr. Ewing in Bergen County, NJ. Everything went well. Almost no pain at all. The only issue was the gas discomfort. My belly was huge!! But that is all gone now and 37 pounds too!! I feel and look great. I got a vitamin B injection yesterday because my levels were very low. Other than that I have no complaints. I love my sleeve!!!

This just might sound plain silly but as the day gets closer I'm getting more afraid of the surgery and how my life will change. I know that tons of people have gone through this and most have been fine, but I've never had surgery and the thought of what is going to happen to me gives me palpations!! I am excited that I will finally start losing weight but at this point fear has out weighed the excitment.

Hey guys! So I've done the seminar, got the first consulation with the surgeon, went to the first visit with the dieticin, and saw the psychologist. All in less than 3 weeks!! WOW!! I'm pooped!! I'm preparing for my life changing event and weening myself off of soda and high fat foods.

So today I met the surgeron that will before my life changing procedure. Dr. Ewing was very informative and had a great calming aura about him that I really liked. My hubby went with me and I was so shocked at what my weight was 269 lbs!! BMI 44.8!! Wow!! I thought I was in the 250's...I'm shocked. I can't believe that I've let myself get so heavy. Have I felt unworthy all these years? I need to see a therapist to further explore this.
On a light note......I'm so happy and excited!!
