Hey Connie Lou! Actually, tomorrow will be two weeks for me. I feel like its been forever though. It all seems like a dream! I can't believe the surgery date has come and gone and I am doing so well. I had my first post-op visit with my surgeon last Wednesday and it went great. I live in Lufkin. He has an office in Nacogdoches and his main office is in Houston where he does his surgeries. I had the surgery in Houston but all my post-op visits will be in Nacogdoches. I think we're about two hours apart. I've also been chatting with another Texan on the board, Tammy. She lives in Athens. She was a huge help to me before my surgery. We messaged back and forth a lot and she was able to answer so many questions I had. I've eaten out a couple of times since surgery but just ordered soup and sipped on it. I haven't tried Olive Garden yet! Wow, I bet that was an experience. I made chicken and dumplings tonight for my husband. It tasted so good but I had to just put a cup in the blender and puree it. I probably could have managed around everything but it was just easier and I didn't have to worry. I'm adding things one at a time and seeing how they do. I have done so extremely well that it is a little scary. I have sent you a friend request. I think its great having your support and chatting back and forth. Let me know how your visit goes tomorrow.
