    thank you for your message. looks like Im down 2 kgs since last week so looks like it was just a stall.... hopefully it carries on and I dont stall again. my dietician says I mustnt worry to much as I have already lost 38 kgs in 5 months which she says is very good... she says I will continue to lose just at a slower pace I just need to be patient, she also said that whenever I hit a stall again I must cut our carbs and increase my protein intake and that should help.

    how you feeling after your op? I was also very ill after I started solids, I had to go back to liquids twice... but now every so often I have an off day and then for a day or two I have liquids just to give my stomache a break and then I go back to solid foods. hope that helps.

    Hey Sally, I live in Colorado now. I left SA 7 yrs ago. I wasn't too far from Bedfordview. I had a house up on the hill between Orange Grove and Mountain View on the Linksfield border.

    I had my sleeve done 7 weeks ago today. Mostly good but this week I'm having some pain when I eat solid foods so I'm going to my doc today.

    Hang in there with the weight loss. Stalls are both expected and good. It gives your body time to readjust and catch up. Don't stop doing the things you should be doing like getting enough water, exercise and the right amount of calories etc. You will lose more weight. I have been a slow loser but it's steady and I'm ok with it.

    Hi Sally, I see that you're from SA. I am too but living in the US now. How are you doing after your sleeve? Where did you have it done?

I found an amazing application on my blackberry which is helping me it is called my fitness pal if you dont have a cell phone you can find it on the internet. it is a calorie counter, you know how many calories you can eat a day and this helps you plan your meals. it tells you how much calories is in every little thing you eat during the day. so before I eat something I first check on my fitness pal app to see how many calories it has got and if its got to many I choose to rather eat something with
