Thank You! How was patel with you? All he said to me before the surgery was "Are you ready dude" then I haven't heard from him since. I guess he did a good job he completed the surgery in less than 40 minutes and all the incisions are tiny except the main one that is twice the size of the other 4 and it is the only one that hurts. I went with him because I researched him and he seemed like the best in San Antonio. I just would have liked him to talk to me after the surgery.

I agree about Dr Patel's office, no post surgery follow up. I didn't see Dr Patel before I was discharged from facility. And like you, the most difficult part of this was the pain after surgery and the diet (protein shakes are horrible). It has been a very difficult 2 weeks for me since surgery. I'm just now getting better. But on the other hand, I've lost 20 lbs and lost 3 inches from my waistline. I can't wait until I can eat regular foods. I do realize that this was a good decision for me.

The actual surgery went just fine, it was the recovery that was difficult. But with every passing day it gets better. Since pre-op I've lost 17 lbs. I can't wait until I get past the 3 week liquid diet. Thanks for asking.

Thank you. My surgery went excellent. 7 days out and finally feeling much better. First few days were rough. I wasnt even able to focus on the computer without getting nauseas
