Hi marcy, Just stopping by to wish you good luck on your surgery this week. I had my surg in sept and was 59 at the time of surg. I did fine and you will too. Keep us posted.

Hi, Nice to meet you. Yes - I am in Oakland County and am very interested in meeting other Michiganders that are on this ' journey'. I am located just North of Detroit, and am seriously thinking of switching by lap-band out and having the sleeve done. I am looking at possibly even going to Mexico this month and have my surgery done by Dr. Almanza. I have been studying all the options of where and with who, and I decided that I will go to Dr. Almanza. ....Though, I am not sure I can work it out that fast, but I am going to work on it this weekend and see if I can make that happen. Maybe Thanksgiving week.

Hi Marcy, I noticed that you are in Michigan too, and you have not had the sleeve yet. Are you seriously thinking about doing it or do you have a date set?
