    I just finished my 12 week multidisciplinary program required by the insurance company for surgery... and got that faxed to my doctors office. Now my wait is on insurance approval. I'm sure I will be approved but the sooner the approval comes thru the faster the surgery can be scheduled. I'm getting a little nervous but so excitd for this new part of my life to begin.

    December first I start the multidisciplinary program for 12 weeks (required by my insurance) prior to surgery. I have had my appointments with internal medicine, my surgeon, and psych (everything good to go). December 1 I start 1200 calorie diet until March 1, 2012. After the multidisciplinary program is complete on March 1...I will be waiting on insurance approval. Hoping for sometime end of March/beg of April 2012. Fingers crossed. Everything has gone smooth so far & I am hoping things continue to go well.

    If anyone has any comments/tips/recipes/advice for me thru the 12 week program or tips for pre- or post- op...feel free to leave comments.

Yesterday I went to my 3 month appointment and I was down 80 lbs... and for some reason I understand this is a lot of weight in a small amount of time but in my head I feel disappointed and feel like I should have lost more weight by now.
