Luna. My date is 12/2. I have not been put on a pre-op diet. Should I be? Mine is to hopefully improve my diabetic which has been out of control since I had surgery the end of Jan. I could lose about 20 lbs and not miss it. I am 60 and now weigh 183. Before surgery I weighed 165. Top weight was 298. I had a IJ bypass in 1978 and lost all of my weight. But after surgery everything went upside down. Before surgery A1C was 4.5 now it is over 11. I sure need some help from people who have been thru this. I need support. Thanks for the support. I am home now. Pain is subsiding. I think I'm kind of in shock!
