Biography:

Hi I'm Tonita. I am 35 years of age and live in Albuquerque, NM. I work from home as a claims adjuster for UnitedHealthcare. Years and years of working in call centers and leading a pretty sedentary lifestyle and an very strong addiction to food have led me to my current state of morbid obesity.

I just had a Vertical Gastric Sleeve Gastrectomy on Sept 21st. My starting weight in July was 276 lbs and I am down to 238lbs as of 10/10/11. I am healing well and learning the ins and outs of what I can and cannot tolerate and how to get in enough water and protein every day. I haven't regretted the surgery yet and I am looking forward to a future free of diabetes and hypertension.
