After what I thought was my rock bottom weight and a lengthy stall the scale has began to move again. Since my surgery on April 16, 2012 I have now lost 249 lbs and am down to 226 lbs. Went from a 5Xl shirt to wearing a Large shirt, size 60 pants to a size 36 the length of my pants has increased two sizes (from wearing them now where I am suppose to). My foot size has shrunk from a size 16 to 14.5, My ring finger went from size 16 to a 14 also.
My only complaint is
As I posted a couple of weeks ago, I hit Goal in less than one year. I started my weight loss journey at 475 lbs and now weigh in at less than 250 lbs (results are not typical).
I wanted to show you the new ME! If you havent' been sleeved, this works but it is only a tool. I have a simple way for you to be successful
a) you want to change
b) Follow your doctors orders to the T
c) get outside support from others who have gone through this
d) Follow
I haven't been around much since Fathers Day so I figured I should get back on and say Hi to everyone.
I had my sleeve done in April, and to date I have lost 135 lbs. If I am following the doctors orders and drink my protein I feel fantastic.
I have dropped from a size 58 pant to a 48. a 5xl shirt to a very very loose 3xl (actually need to go get a 2xl).
I love my sleeve!!!!

Hi everyone, I was sleeved on Monday and am amazed. Yes I am sore, No I am not hungry at all, I have had to resort to sipping water every 5 minutes to keep my water intake up. What amazes me the most (and worried me about the others who had surgery), was I was the only one of the 5 other patients who all had surgery on Monday who was up and walking laps around the nurses station. Why would we go through the expense of this surgery and NOT et up and walk? Makes me wonder how compliant
