    Hi Maratay,

    I am glad to hear of your sucess. I would also like to hear more about your experience through the surgery and stay in Mexico. I am scheduled on 11/11/11 with Dr Almanza and would like to hear from a recent patient.

    I too, have been over weight my entire life, and will be starting this journey from 367 pounds. I have already lost 10 with the pre op diet. I was interested in your mental analogy of how you don't see your changes. I wonder if that is how I will be? I have never known myself as thin... always fat.

180lbs down in 9 months CRAZY!!

I don't know if anyone else has had this experience yet, but i'm now 9 month post-op and 180lbs down.... I know what you all are thinking OMG, that's incredible I think so too but really my question is why can't I see myself as different. Why can't I pick up the 1X and think yeah I'll fit that but pick up a 6X and say that's what I'll fit. Will I ever see the difference??

What a heaven to helland back journey!!!!

So i haven't posted anything since November in saying that I honestly haven't been able too....

I got the ok from my family doctor to finally ride my horses again and just my luck the same week I got kicked in the stomach by one of my friends horses....ouch!! Then a lung infection, which I was swallowing such much yukie stuff i was throwing up all the time which led to the final straw of losing feeling from my chest down....
