Yes I take all Bariatric Advantage. Calcium, Multi and B Complex.

The puréed stage was difficult for me.. I could never get over 500 calories in a day. Six or seven bites and I was stuffed!! My favorite thing was cooking Cauliflower until it was just about mush and adding a little velveta cheese and salt and pepper, its delicious! I also enjoyed taking one egg and soft scrambling it and adding a dash of sharp cheddar cheese. I had an appointment on Monday at Dr. Kim's office and was cleared to eat normal food again!! How are you doing?

Nancy did you have your procedure at Forest Park? If so do did I! I must say I ended up with really nice nurses. I had one who did not go home until he was able to get my blood pressure to go down.

Recovery is going very well except for this darn cough that will not go away. I am having difficulty getting my protein in but I try daily. How are you doing?

Yes, Magnolia is just on the very north edge of Houston, more like Houston has moved out to Magnolia. LOL.

And yes, the work we did before the surgery contributes so much to the success, along with having an excellent surgeon.

I actually don't know about straining, except to remove the solids. My doc had me go from clear liquids to soft foods. No full liquids and no pureed. So far so good. Although I was prepped to go on those... new strainer and all! I actually had a half of a cheese enchilada last night at a restaurant with my son and my sister's family.

Anyway, glad to see that you are doing so well. This is the best decision I could have ever made.

How are you doing post-op so far? I read your comments about going home and the hiatal hernia repair. I had the same, and like you was home in 24 hours more or less.
