    hi jen,
To be honest I’ve been great. I was in a lot of pain the following morning after the operation and was given some morphine, a few hours later I was fine and discharged later in the afternoon. I was a bit tired for a few days and a bit weak but after that just got stronger and stronger. The first 4 days the weight just fell off me but has been static for the last 3 days. I have another week leave before I go back to work and now feel like I’ve got a week’s holiday to make the most of as I don’t feel ill at all. I am getting a bit fed up of soup and cannot wait to move on, even mush sounds very tasty right now. It is a bit of a strange experience when I eat or drink, it still feels like I’m full of wind, and my stomach makes some very strange noises. It’s only a week since my operation but I can feel the benefit of the 1 stone I’ve lost. I can sleep much better I am not snoring anywhere near as bad and I wake much more refreshed.
    all the best
