Biography:

I am 74 years young and have struggled with my weight most of my adult life. In 2008, I had a gastric band. I lost some weight and did well for a few years. Then reflux became unbearable. I landed in the hospital twice and they loosened the band to just about non-existent. Needless to say, the weight crept back. In 2020 after months of vomiting after eating, the band slipped and I had emergency surgery to remove it. A nightmare. I have gained back all of the weight I lost and then some. I am now considering the gastric bypass.
