Help ! Gastric Sleeve Post Check Ups

Hey All,
Can anyone share what they did?
Need to know, from others who went to Mexico, what did you do for post gastric sleeve, check ups? My doctor is saying I need to have at least 6 months, once a month, of check ups with the Doctor that did the surgery. And that legally, the Doc who performs the surgery should remove any stiches. Help! 4 days away from surgery.
