Sounds good to me. I could use a buddy! I have had a pretty easy recovery. I went to my one week checkup today and I have lost 15lbs!! I am on the soft food diet now. What is going on with you??

My surgery will be on the 26th. I can't wait for it!

Coppers, I am doing well. A big congrats on your weight loss!! My first day home was pretty rough and everything bothered my new tummy. I continue to have a heck of a time with stomach acid....whenever I'm empty it feels like a knawing at my gut and gurggles in my throat. Dr. gave me RX for Prilosec 2x daily but so far it hasn't completly taken care of the problem. I'm eating protein shakes and cream of chicken soup. I can eat yogurt but anything that is sweetened really turns me off. I am able to get about 50 g of protein and all of my water. This morning I woke up and noticed that everything was tighter, I could only eat (i like my shakes thick) a few bites of shake before I had to set it down. Tomorrow I get to add eggs, cottage cheese, fish...I am so excited! I'm down 6 lbs since surgery.

So How was the surgery?
