I am good how are you?? I am now 9 months pregnant and have to have a C Section on 10/11/12. We are having a baby girl. My pregnancy has been amazingly smooth. No blood pressure issues, no gluclose issues, no other issues. I have gained about about 19 lbs, which saddens me since I had lost so much, but then again a lot of is baby and the doctor doesnt seem concerned by it. I had talked to my surgeon as well. He advised me, though not ideal, that my getting pregnant so early after pregnancy was OK and that I should be OK, since it was not gastric bypass and I will not have any malaborption issues. Just to watch what I eat and quantity and such. I have to say, I have ate way more carbs then I would and should have, which may be some of the weight gain issue. But just a couple more weeks and we should have a very healthy baby girl.

I just saw your post about the pregnancy and 1st of all congrats!! I am about 9 1/2 weeks pregnant with my first and only 5 months post op. I just saw my OB on Monday and feel better. He told me even if I dont eat much or gain much, I still had "plenty of reserve" for the baby to thrive off of. I havent met my goal yet for weight lose, so I was worried. All this had me worried. I guess we will see how it all goes. This is my first pregnancy, so I am excited. But definitely nervous. Please keep in touch and let me know how your pregnancy goes with the sleeve and what your doctor says.

Hey Sarah, I am feeling pretty good, how did everything go for you. My pain is pretty much gone at this point and my steri-strips are coming off. This is the best I have felt in a while. How is everything going for you? Hope you are recovering well.

Thanks for all the well wishes. I'm sore and my head really hurts. I don't understand why I weigh 208 now. My husband said it's bc of all the fluid they gave me in the hospital. I'm ready for full liquids though!
