  1. I am feeling pretty good. now that the good weather is here, getting outside a lot is great. I like the meetings they work for me, they help me refocus. I know you have a lot of support on this site, that is awesome!

Thanks How are you feeling? You look terrific! Sorry I haven't been at the meetings but to be honest I hate them.....

Hey! I am so happy that you are enjoying the weight loss. Give it a few more weeks and the pounds will be melting off!! I loved losing quickly the first 2 months. How are you feeling? I was reading Grace's post to you and she mentioned a drain. I didn't have one. What is it for? How long do you have to have it? It's funny how doctors perform the sleeve differently. Keep me posted on your success. The best is yet to come!!!

    Hi
Saw her today as well! We must have just missed each other, my appt was 2:30. I dropped "only" 14 lbs in 6 wks. I think it's because I am not worrying about fat content of foods. I'll try low fat for a couple of weeks and see if I can stand it ;-) If not, I'm happy with over 2 lbs a week anyway....
So glad you are feeling ok and I'll bet even better now with the drain out. It's good it didn't bother you, it made me so nauseous.
I'm thinking the pre-op meeting is the 27th, it being the 4th Monday of the month. Not sure if I'll go this time. I have to be with my mother in law pretty much full time Mon-Thursday and it would cost me over $100 to get someone to watch her for the meeting.....
I'll try hard to make the post op group next month.
  5. Had my surgery on November 9, 2011.
First two days out the gate were horrible and I wondered what the heck I did to myself. Now a week out and I am feeling pretty darn good.

Hi!! Thank you for the compliments. You asked if I could do anything differently. I kept losing even when I ate poorly. I would eat half a small cheeseburger (minus the buns) instead of a healthier choice. I have lived like this for months. I wish I could have picked up better habits along the way. I had my surgery in Mexico and did not have the luxury of a nutritionist or support groups. Good luck with your surgery and your journey. Pick up good habits along the way!!! Best of luck!
