Hey! Just wondered how you were doing? We had our procedures done the same week in May of 2018. I haven’t been on this site since forever! Dumb mistake on my part! I’m now 7 lbs up from my lowest weight and getting recommitted! (It actually feels good to recommit.) The holidays and a recent cruise did me in. I would love to hear how you are doing. You were always such an inspiration!
I haven't been on here for a while, you look awesome!!!!
You look so awesome!!!
You look great Lisa!
Your Welcome. Glad to hear your doing well and feeling fabulous
Congratulations! Love your before and after pics! You look great.
Love, love, love your before and afters!! You rock Lisa!
I'm glad you got to enjoy your Thanksgiving. I enjoyed mine just because my family was here. I only got to eat a sliver of Turkey. A couple hours later, I had some of my sisters chicken dip (shredded chicken, cream cheese & hot sauce) and a half deviled egg. The chicken dip was really hard to not swallow too fast as it dissolved in my mouth and made me super sick. Within a hour, I had dumping syndrome. It was AWFUL! BUT... thankfully, everyone had left at that point so I slept it off. I know how satisfied you feel right now. I am experiencing a similar situation. I lost 60 lbs doing Zumba and had someone that had been in my life since childhood that ended up being bigger than me even pre-surgery. I gained some of it back before surgery but now I have a tool to keep it off.
Oh my Lisa, you look fabulous. Just want to wish you a good trip as I know how exciting it will be to have family see your new you. Have a good trip.
Errrrrmygawd! How the time flies!!! You are looking ahhhmazing! Awww and thanks for the kind comments, Life is busy and I don't get on as often as I used to but I try for at least once a week. You are going so good, you cant be far away from goal weight.. but who cares about that anyway! You are fabulous xxx
So good to hear things are going so well. My health is improving too. I had some labs with my internist but don't get full labs w/ my bariatric surgeon until 6 mos out. Before surgery I needed to go on a statin but had some side effects so stopped and now my cholesterol is fine so I don't have to take it now. I decreased my blood pressure med amount by half. Weight wise I am in a stall right now but it's b/c of me and the fact that I am eating more and snacking more. I find that I am still very hungry with the small amounts of food I ate before so I am eating a lot more. I am now trying to get back on board so to speak and be more accountable with what and how much I am eating. Despite this I am always so grateful that I don't feel like a bottom less pit anymore when I eat. I too have more energy. I am now shopping hip replacement doctors...one step at time.
I have to second SAMom's statement that you indeed look amazing. Just wanted to say hello and see how it's going.
OK Doing well. Still have pain at my waist and below but it is finally subsiding a bit. The doctor seemed more concerned than my one month visit but thinks it is a nerve issue and will eventually go away. The pain is too low to be my mini stomach according to him. My blood work came back great which was wonderful! My family has a history of diabetes so I was pleased that is out of the equation now! I’ve lost 50 lbs now and I’m happy with the pace. I so worry about hair loss but haven’t had that yet! I also worry about eventual weight gain. There was an interesting thread yesterday about weight gain that was really insightful and sobering. Will definitely commit it to memory! Keep up the great work. You look so GREAT! And I love your outfit! You and your family must be so proud of you!!!
You look amazing!! Way to go!
Well done!
