Thanks Tiff for taking the time and replying :-) I just wish I see more info on Dr Vanden Borre - supposedly he has done 600+ sleeves per year (for more than 16 yrs- per Chris).. I would think that more people on here would reply and his name come up more often. Did you find more info about him that I have? We set the date for Oct 26th. 2.5 weeks away -- yikes !

I too at first was quite skeptical of not really knowing the surgeon before hand...I did a lot of googling and reading about him and his experience. I trust Chris with the care and his recommendation of the surgeon and I felt comfortable enough to have the surgery. To be honest I spent all of like 5 min max with dr vanden borre himself. Just met him right before surgery and he asked if I had any questions and then we went through. It's all a bit daunting but like I said I trusted in Chris and went through a million questions with him. Hope this helps you. If you have any other questions I don't mind. Take care x
