  1. Good morning, I've been doing just ok. The weight loss is slow. I'm only down 11-12 pounds post op. Pretty frustrating. I still eat too fast and probably too much because I get nauseated a lot. I feel like I'm eating slow but obviously not slow enough. I'm disappointed with all the stalls I have been having. I stopped working everything down but I am going to start doing that today. I seldom eat 1000 calories but I do get my protein in. I definitely need to drink more water. I probably only drink 40oz or so. How is your weight loss? Are you exercising? I work 12 hour shifts at the hospital 4 days a week but I really haven't done much else.

hey lady.. how are you doing? hope good and losing a ton of weight! I am trying some new foods. but still trying to get my portions right.. realistically I can only take max 4 forkfuls.. but I always try for a few more then I know I should not have!!!
  3. I think I need to start doing the same and only weighing twice a week. Sometimes I forget when I'm drinking and take a big gulp. I get reminded very quickly sips, sips, sips. I feel like my energy is ok. Are you taking your B12? I have a few days off this week. I may try and do something other than walking for cardio. Thanks for checking in.

start pureed food on Monday.. I don't even want to type it but I really have not been hungry at all... it's been a blessing or I think I wouldn't make it through... I am down to 220 from 241 highest weight... feeling better just still tired. I don't weigh everyday.. twice a week is what i'm sticking with Mondays and Friday morning. can't take big drinks yet.. its pretty painful if it goes down in a large gulp.. so sippy sippy steff I am!!
  5. Hi thanks for checking in. The first week post op my scale moved everyday. Now for the last 8 days it danced around 185. Frustrating. I'm an tracking everything with my fitness pal and have been eating 600-750 calories, getting my protein in. I know I probably should weigh every day but.....
So I'm just plugging along. Looking forward to pureed food, never thought I'd say that! How are you doing? Feeling good?

how are you doing miss Pear?!?! hope you are doing good.. just wanted to check in with ya.
  7. I have to say this liquid phase is definitely not exciting. I had been on Lindora (similar to Medifast) a while back. So I have been using their products. The berry field smoothie (20 g protein, 1 sugar), soups, and their premade choc shakes. I'm feeling good though. The scale moves everyday. I love that!

hey there...hope you are still good.. i'm so tired of liquid!! hahaha
  9. I'm doing really well. I am post op day 4. No pain what so ever. I haven't taken a pain med since surgery. I get an occasional cramping if I take too big of a sip. But otherwise walking and moving around. I came home from Mexico a day early. Yesterday was a bit more challenging getting all my fluids in. Today I get to go to the next phase. I don't feel hungry, tired or cranky. I am looking forward to protein drinks.

Hi there. I'm post op one day! Mexico sleeve with almanza. Not going to lie first night was a bitch but today is so much better. Once you get to hotel and get some sleep. You just feel better!! I don't know your doctor. But so far been a pretty decent experience.. we love close to each other. I love it Santee so didnt have to fly anywhere. That makes it really nice also!! I leave when you getting yours done so I'll be thinking about ya!!
  14. Sounds like you're doing great. Good luck on moving to the solid foods. I'm planning on going back to work a week after the surgery.
  15. Yes I am doing great. I am down 16lbs and its been 2 weeks today since surgery. I flew back and got in Friday morning and was back for a meeting that afternoon. My only complication is no solids; it gets stuck and I end up vomiting so I am on protein and broth but I am not hungry, have lots of energy, feel great and starting to shed the pounds. I did a full detox colon cleanse which helped alot. I went through Trinity Medical Center trinitymedical.org and they outlined everything for me pre, during and post op. I was told that I would lose much more weight than my goal weight so we shall see.
