hi Kim . i was just wondering if you had any tips for me , ive been at a complete stand still since december my doctor never gave me a real diet plan to follow and my Pcp just says eat what everybody else eats just less ,, thats successfully caused a million vitamin deficiencies my blood work was horrible , and i cant see my surgeon since the bariatric clinic at tulane shut down { not that ive ever seen him since surgery anyways i only ever saw a practitioner once 6 weeks post op} im at my wits end , i wasnt getting near enough protein until i was recently turned on to the trick of mixing a cup of chocolate protein powder with a cup of hot coffee now that i can do thought id ask you since youre close and youre familiar with the way people here eat

Hello. so how long did you have the nausea...i read that after 5 weeks you had it but didnt see how long you had it thanks...

I looked at your pics and can not believe that is you before. I am nervous but ready to have the procedure. Just worried about how to handle first few weeks

your results are awesome ,, i was just looking at your before and after pictures , you look so familiar i must have seen you around before . i have a couple of questions #1 whats your diet like now and #2 did you have a problem with alot of loose skin and if so what did you do about it . i read that exercise helps it shrink and although im not a vain person by any means i do worry about it

Thank you! I am starting to REALLY look forward to the bikini ones, lol, now that I look halfway decent in one! 18 more pounds to goal and final bikini...or...we'll see how much further I can go. I just figured 100 lbs total was a good start!!!

Since weight loss has become so slow for me, when I take off a pound or two, I like to go get a can or two of beans out of the pantry and hold them...then I realize that that "measly" pound or two is pretty significant! Helps! How are you doing???

I have also started keeping a journal for the same reason. I track my weight loss, my high and lows which has helped me keep my mind right. Tracking my weight loss in pounds and inches lost has helped me see how far I have come. When the scale has not moved I just go back and look at my stats and I realize it’s much more then I think. The truth is when I look in the mirror I don’t see what I have accomplished I only see what I still need to lose. Which makes me sad and this is something I am working hard to overcome.

I stared out at 391 lb and lost 41lb before my surgery but knew i would not keep it off without the sleeve. I just could not gain the weight back plus more I could not fail again! The sleeve saved me from this cycle.

Yeah, I am doing those videos for myself, so that I can remember where I was, and what I was thinking, AND for people like you who can relate! I used to wake up every morning with every good intention of FINALLY being disciplined in eating, and never coming through! I really think that the Ghrelin thing plays a huge role in us not having the "willpower" (A term I came to HATE) to stop eating. I just couldn't do it. I never felt full! LOVE MY SLEEVE!!!
