I went to a bariatric nutritionist last week. Here is what she told me: if you see a slow down on your weight loss, you willl need a min of 800 calories and 60 g of protein/ day and the max is 1200 calories and 60g of protein.
Vitamins:
Flinstone complete chewable for the first bottle 1/ day. After this switch to Centrum 1 / day
Calcium citrate chewable 1000mg/ day (2x 500mg) for the first bottle, then switch to petites; same 1000mg/day
Omega3 fish oil: 1 /day
B12 sublingual:1/day
Your blood work should be done each 3 mo after surgery, yearly after that. Your dr should do the following: Full iron panel, faulic acid, vitaminD status and B12
I am down to 199. I pulled my stitches out Monday of last week.I walk 1/2 hr every day. With the nashy foods, sometimes they are hard to get down. they are getting stuck in my neck.
