Nice work brotha! I will be 6 months out in a couple weeks. Probably be down 90 by then. I wish I could exercise more. Finally had an MRI and I have severe ostioarthritis in both hips. Going to see a specialist next week and I think I'm going to get some injections to help with mobility so I can exercise more. Probably will need hip replacement down the road. I did finally get back in my pool yesterday for the first time in years so I'm going to do that daily. My loss has purely been on diet alone. Can't wait until I'm more active. Your success is very motivating for me! Congratulations and wish you the best o luck and hope your back continues to mend. Regards, Tommy

    Donald,
Thanks for all the post. I am scheduled to have the sleeve in 2 weeks. Looking at your profile, it seems like you and I are very much alike, my heaviest was 326, my weight now is 296 pre op, am also in my 40s. Looks like you have had some real success, I hope I can follow and see the same kind of results. Looking forward to watching your progress

Thank you so much Donald, that was really thoughtful. I've been so busy last several days I forgot about our 3 Month Sleeversity. Luckily I get to have weightloss as my job. Lol I'm doing good. I joined some hiking groups and cycling group and working hard in the gym. I'm doing well with my diet. Two hikes last week plus one trail walk. All at least Seven miles long. This weekend went on two hikes. They were 7.5 miles long. All so beautiful. Having the time of my life. Trying to make up for all the time I wasn't when I was so heavy. I'm still loosing weight and inches like crazy. I went from 24 to 16. 16's getting loose. 3x to lg. Lg starting to get loose. I got a new road bike and was trying on biker padded shorts. Wasn't sure size, tried extra lg & lg both to big so I try med and they fit. Still thinking I'm bigger when clothes shop. Gotta laugh and feel good when you are wrong. How are you doing?

Good luck for continued success Donald. I am struggling with the decision to have this done. It is encouraging to see success stories from folks like you.

Things are going pretty well! I am starting to figure out how much to eat. I am down about 30 pounds since surgery on 2/15. Clothes are getting too big, and my energy is good! Thank you for asking! How are you doing?

Happy 2 month Anniversary fellow sleever. We lost almost the same amount of weight. I lost 51 & you lost 54. Great job. Glad our journeys our going well. Keep up the good work my friend.

Thank you Donald. I am a bundle of nerves right now, which i guess is normal (and especially after reading that gal's post today about her horrendous experience!) and am trying to keep myself occupied by thinking of 'good, happy thoughts.'

  13. Welcome take off your shoes and stay a while. Just a note on my friends list, people that are on there are folks I find inspiring or people who I hope I can inspire.
