Yes WOW what an amazing transformation. I am in the process of scheduling my sleeve. I am about 260 pounds and your pictures really gives me hope, I love the way your skin looks esp on your arms. Your so tone. My question to you is did you have workout program that you used or do you have good "jeans"??
    Thanks so much Steph

    Amazing transformation!
  3. I flew in from GA for my surgery in August- We stayed in a hotel for a week after my surgery. That was my only regret, I wished I was home for that period but managed. Dr. Rincon cracked me up with his personality and was really nice. Tre is fantastic too. Im down 131 pounds and holding steady. Seems to be where my body is happy. Im ok at 147. I never thought that would be possible.
I have issues occasionally with eating to fast or too much. I have to back myself up and rethink about what Im doing. My Dad had the gastric bypass so he is good support too.

I have not been able to find anyone that has used Dr. Rincon either. I thought he was fantastic, and I absolutely love his nutritionist Tre. I had my surgery in November, and I am doing great. I did quite a bit of research before my surgery, and I knew that I wanted to stay within the surrounding states- and I finally decided on Dr. Rincon after speaking to them. It has been nearly 6 months, and I have lost 108lbs. Everything has went so much easier than I thought it would. NO REGRETS!! How about yourself, how did your surgery go, and how has your journey been so far??

    Hi,
Thanks for the advice. I have been on the liquid diet for 2 days now so I did start a little earlier. I hope that this will help in surgery. I am trying to stay positive and I hope that this will be the answer to my bad eating habits. The liquid diet has definitley been getting easier. I am now starting to think of what to pack for the hospital stay. Wow.....this is close and it's really happening!

Oh One-Derland How I have missed you so...

by Mica on 10-18-2011 at 10:52 AM
You guessed it I'm sure, I fnally hit that under 200 lbs mark and about jumped out of my skin. It was 5:30 AM getting ready for work when I weighed in. I had to go and get my husband to witness the major event. Lucky for me he is crazy supportive and actually got up at that ungodly hour to look. He gave me a big hug and kiss and said he was so proud of me and congratulations. Talk about motivation!

I had hit just above 200 for a couple weeks. The scale was slow to respond, but

Oh my- Look at me looking all good!

by Mica on 10-03-2011 at 08:38 AM
So we all know the tall windows on buildings and in store fronts that you try to not look in when you walk by becuase you know the reflection will show the truth and not what we thought we looked like when we left our house that morning... I always start off thinking I look so cute and then walking into my work I walk past huge windows and they always tell me the truth...

Well this weekend I bought a pair of size 16 jeans. I used to wear a 22 before surgery 2 months ago. I wore

Over the one month hump

by Mica on 09-06-2011 at 01:31 PM
I have been bouncing all over the web site reading different people's experiences and weight loss goals and troubles. One thing I find is that some people FREAK ME OUT! Seriously... I start thinking Im loosing to fast or two slow or that I will have issues. I got so bad for a week or so I couldnt read any of the new blog posts. People complaining about only loosing an ounce or having gained an ounce! I finally decided I like the positive news so I would just skip anything negative for awhile.

Can it be true!

by Mica on 08-11-2011 at 08:13 PM
I am 9 days since my surgery! Other than some pain in my tummy around the largest suture mark I am doing ok. Have boughts with wanting "real" food but have been able to stay pretty true to my nutritionists requests. found a restaurant that does an egg drops soup, really not greasy and the eggs are so thin that it slides down, that's been my biggest cheat! I snuck a spoonful of peanut butter and thought I was going to die, so I decided to soon for that. For the most part I am not hungry

Final Count Down

by Mica on 07-28-2011 at 07:46 AM
Well, I have almost made it through my 2 weeks of liquid diets. I had issues on day 4 where I ATE.. I mean I ATE a big steak and then proceeded to get super sick. Sick at myself and sick to my stomach. It had already become accustomed to the no food, all liquid diet. So I did it wrong for sure. On one seperate occasion, I think day 5, I had popcorn at the movies with my son. I think this will be my biggest draw back is popcorn, I love the stuff. I am also a big movie buff so no popcorn at
