    how goes it????
  2. I am at a plateau at 150... it is dark in Alaska and I do not exercise much when it is winter. I hate the cold, so do not go outside much and exercise is hard for me... I need to work harder at drinking water and not snacking between meals...I do throw up if I eat too fast or eat something new to my stomach. Spaghetti does not stay down at all. I feel tired and my back hurts after I eat a meal. I also am using patch vitamins , which helps me . I am still using Genepro for my daily protein as I cannot eat much meat, but can eat fish.
So, there is my journal for November 2016...

Thank you so much, your awesome. I hope all keeps going well. Thank you for your advice god bless you.
  6. August 4th 2016, I am doing 4 miles a day walking. I am down to 65 lbs. 29 lbs weight off....yea! I feel 40 again! I am drinking a lot and eating is still slow... Beans and peanut butter, eggs and fish are the bulk of my protein. Also Genepro (Amazon) is a protein I use in my peach nonfat milk shakes. I am so glad I had the surgery. I am so active now and can keep up with my husband in activity.
  7. Well, I am enjoying my fourth week of mushy foods. I am loving how I look and feel. My husband is a real encourager.
I have lost weight slowly, about 1 lb. for every three days...So I feel that is healthy. I am walking about 3 miles a day total... doing some exercise with my job also... I love that I am fitting into some of my clothes now that I kept saving for the day when I lost the weight...Exciting! I love Genepro Protein in my fruit, skim milk shakes in the morning. I can eat creamy peanut butter and Greek Yogurt. I drink skim milk also with my water intake. Cream cheese is going down pretty easily. I am excited to eat fish. I love salmon and tuna.
I ate some nectarines and queen anne cherries and they slid down pretty easy. The skin from the nectarine I spit out. I also chewed up three bites of my husbands ribeye steak and swallowed the juices, but spit out the meat part...It tasted so good...if I want to taste something, I chew it up and spit it out into a napkin very discreetly...Loving watching the scales go down...
  8. I am at work... I am not lifting over 10 lbs... I am doing great. Iam able to go to bed by 7:00, and get up at 5:00... Have a 12 HR day with lots of long breaks to relax... I am glad I did not have to stay home... I would probably be ruining my sleeve... The work day keeps my mind and body active...
I am feeling great. My stitches were taken out on the 10th day from surgery...
Again, I have lots of energy...
  9. I am home after a very long 6 days. Am feeling great today after a hard two days. I am nourished and my antibiotic is staying down. Have lost 11 pounds. I am finally getting to the place where I can say, Iam glad I did this! Thanks Shirl for ur encouageing post!

On the countdown to May 30th, my surgery date.
Have my shopping lists ready and am excited about getting everything
ready for post op. Went through my clothes closet yesterday and get out my favorite dresses and jeans that I want to fit into again...Filled a bag of Xlarge clothes that will fall off of me in the postop months. I have cut out all but one soda a week from my diet...I am having a hard time giving up coffee in the morning time...Will do that at two weeks out from surgery.
