Hi everyone! I've only lost 11 lbs. since surgery, but my work pants are no longer tight! There have been many days in the past several months where I almost cried while getting ready for work because they were so tight - and I refused to buy the next larger size. On an even brighter side I've lost 25 lbs. since August 19th (on the 19th I was about 4 days into the 2 Week Pre-op Diet) I still have a week before I can lift over 5 lbs. and I have stared walking again, like many of you told me..sip sip sip, walk walk walk! Hope everyone is having a great week so far!

Thanks for the update! I'm glad you are doing so well. Definitely take it easy on the exercise department, I was cleared for cardio one week post op, and I was full of energy but I over did it and after about week 6 my energy plummeted. I slowed way down, and I'm now starting to exercise more regularly.

Your job is just to rest and recuperate. Be good to yourself.

It's getting real! Surgery date set for August 29, 2016. Had my EKG this week and everything looks great. Just need to schedule chest x-ray, and get blood work done in August. Already using the Protein Powder and making better choices for my meals. The hubby & my work family and friends are most supportive - looking forward to better days...hope everyone has a great 4th of July weekend!
