Good news for me today! I am still stunned. Ok...Dr. wasn't sure my surgery would be approved.
I have been waiting for at least 8 months. Suddenly, the pre-op nurse calls and asks if I could show next week for Pre-surgery tests. What?
I was so excited but she hung up too fast.

Tell Tomesha, what does pre-op tests involved?

I just don't know how to reply here yet.
I am in NJ and it has been a challenge trying to get a Bariatric Surgeon and one that accepts my insurance.
So, after 2 and a half years I got one. But I have had to wait 9 months for my insurance to clear.
Since the medical staff is so unprofessional I can't get my questions answered.

You cleared them up for me and that's what makes it so nerve-wracking.
Not sure if I am getting the right information.

So, it is clear liquids and Dulcolax every day before surgery right?

Hi, having hard time navigating site.
I need some support.....I should be getting sleeved in April.
So very nervous as I am all alone.
I need very specific details of what I should be doing before surgery.
I was handed a sheet of paper instructing me to take Ducolax a drink water only two day before surgery.
Does that sound right?

I was also told I should only be drinking water 10 days after surgery. Really?
