yes, that's what I was thinking. I'm going to do a pouch reset and after that I will be more cautious on counting calories. That's not been something I've done regularly. Just wondering if you have had any plastic surgery done? I have quite a bit of loose skin on my belly and want to do at least a tummy tuck.
Thank you, and good luck to your husband.

Hi, well I'm actually 5'1 as well. Not sure how to begin loosing weight again? I don't feel like I eat to much or often, so I have to figure out what to do.

I hadn't gastric sleeve done July 2014 my weight was close to yours and well I still have not gone down to the weight I would like to be at. I've been stuck at 150 and I'm wondering if you can tell me what your are doing so that I can see what I'm doing wrong. Thank you in advance, G.

Send me your email. I have some great read on intentional eating I can forward.
  6. I am doing great!! Sometimes it feels like I am a slow looser. I am exactly 150.5 lbs today, 40lbs lost in total, 31 since surgery. And I'll be 3 months post op on April 20th so when I put it like that, it seems I'm doing just fine.
I have gone from size 14 to size 6. I still feel and see my old self in the mirror and I hate that feeling. Does that ever change? Will I see what everyone sees? Or will I always have the fat girl syndrome?
You're an amazing person to look up to btw. Always enjoy reading your posts or responses.

    Hey! How are you doing?
  8. Hey there! My hubby is slowly warming up to me now and is being somewhat supportive. Just some comments he makes about me not being able to have a normal life anymore, he says I can't eat anything and I'm basically starving myself so no wonder I'm loosing weight.
I just want to get to the eating solids stage so I can show him I will be just as normal as he is lol. We can eat anything just small portions.
And yes, I get you are saying. My husband's first request was that I had to keep my boobs (currently a 38 DD) I am certain that will change but I'm okay with it.
I have butt and boobs so hopefully he's not too disappointed haha!! Now I say I wouldn't get plastic surgery but who knows. If I'm able to lose the 70 lbs , that is quite some weight and my skin is unforgiving

Never can say too much ;-)
I'm sorry your not getting any support at home. I lucked out big time....I was out of work, which stinks but I was able to get onto state insurance...which pays for everything except the nutritionist. If I had to pay, obviously being out of work....it wouldn't have happened. My hubby was supportive, still is. I wouldn't change anything but I would like to get a butt and boob implant. Feeling a bit deflated. Doesn't help that we have a pug who will be one year old in march and we were talking about how she is filling out.....I said "jeez, Bella has a chest and a butt....two things I don't have."
    And the hubby said
"Yeah. Bella is my new girlfriend"
He was obviously joking since Bella is a dog but still...

Oh well. Too bad we can't pick and choose where to gain & loose.
    How are doing?

Hi! I had just read a comment of yours where you said you were one week out and trying not to weigh yourself.
SMART!! The scale can make you crazy!!! I weighed on the 4th day and I was 5 pounds heavier then the day of surgery. All that water weight from the IV. I started to consistently loose but stalled at 3/4 weeks post. Stepped on scale all the time and was getting obsessed. If possible weigh once a months, same time of the day.
Good luck with you journey! If you have any questions feel free to ask!

One Year Surgeversary!!!!

by Greatest decision ever!!! on 01-20-2017 at 12:32 PM
And just like that!! Boom!! One year already!!

My highest weight was 192, as of this morning i am 120 lbs !! I am a size extra small in tops and a "0" in jeans!! My BMI went from 36 to 22. I have never been this small. I was 115 lbs when I was 18 but still a size 6. I've lost all my curves but I am happier and a better person now! This surgery literally saved my life and saved my marriage! Sad but it's true, in a way my husband seems to like me better in bed, then again

Going back to basics! Anyone wants to join me??

by Greatest decision ever!!! on 09-19-2016 at 06:04 PM
Almost 8 months post op and I must confess I have been doing so many bad food choices lately. I feel sometimes I can eat more and more, sure it hurts but nothing that will stop me from doing it.
My lowest weight was 130 lbs and my body seems to be happy there. I am 132 lbs now and go up and down to 130 again and again.
I am happy where I am now, size 4 in jeans and XS tops but I keep thinking I want to lose more just in case I gain later on I'll have a few lbs to play with. Then

6 Months surgeversary and enjoying life!!

by Greatest decision ever!!! on 07-20-2016 at 10:42 AM
I am beyond thankful for my sleeve!! It's definitely been a learning experience ! It's only been 6 months and I'm already so close to my dr's weight goal (115 lbs). I am 133.5 as of this morning. That is a 57 lb loss!! At times it feels like I'm losing slower than others but it's only because I don't have much more left. I've got 18 more lbs in the next 6 months, so doable!!

I have lost my butt (lol) and have some loose skin in my lower abdomen. I've been thinking of getting a Brazilian

From Extra Large to Small in 5 months! I am over the moon!!

by Greatest decision ever!!! on 06-16-2016 at 10:52 PM
I recently got a new job, better position which kind of requires me to dress up a bit more. I've been wearing some size 8 pants and yesterday my husband told they looked too big on me, so we went shopping for an outfit today. Holy cow!! I am a comfortable size 4 in pants and a small top!! I am so happy!!
I have lost 53 lbs and weight loss has slowed down but I am so okay with it. I am 137 lbs, I know I'll break the current stall so I'm not sweating it !!

Hope everyone is doing
