    Good afternoon. I see that Dr. Courtney Doyle was your surgeon. I'm currently going through the process, can you tell me what the pre-op and post op diet was like? If all goes well, I should be approved in February. I go see Dr. Doyle on 1/18 so I'm hoping to get a date at that time. At that time, my insurance wait time of 6 months will be complete. I'm soooo excited.

Struggling with exhaustion...

I was sleeved on 3/1. When I went for my one-week post op, I was dehydrated (even though I had been getting my fluids in - doc said some people retain fluid ?) and was given some IV fluids.

I literally can barely make it through the day I am so tired. I go to bed early, sleep, and struggle to get up. I am getting my protein and fluids in. I don't remember reading about this here so I thought I might just see what others' thoughts were.

Start preop diet tomorrow!

I am a big bundle of emotions as my surgery seems so real now - it's scheduled for March 1!!!

I have read and learned so much from this site...including how difficult the preop diet is for most folks. I know it's only a snapshot in the big picture but I am so worried about it for some reason...

Any tips for surviving it, other than to follow the instructions to the letter?
