When you have time, could you take a look for me here?
    https://www.gastricsleeve.com/forum/...ad.php?t=68545
It is a question that has been on my mind for some time now.
Finding an answer proves to be difficult and I would very much appreciate you looking into it.
I value your opinion very much!

    O my goodness...
I cannot begin to comprehend how p*sssed and disappointed you must feel!
He is clearly out of his ....ing mind!
But then again, he IS French, n'est pas?

    Overseas to were?
I mean, technically speaking, you are overseas right now...
Were would you have to move to?

Don't you have insurance from the company you or your hubby work for?
This clearly is a medical issue, not?

Are you in much pain right now?
    Can you wait much longer?

I'll pray for you that things will improve anytime soon now!

I will keep my fingers crossed that it will be "just" a virus!
Actually, I think it is, those things are really contagious.
I am glad your lungs are doing better and I sure hope that surgeon will do the repairs that need to be done very, very soon!
    Any chance on that?
You have waited long enough now!

Keep me posted, if you will, also on the "no snacking, still getting enough calories and stay in moderate carb range" thing?

    O?
    That is weird...
    Those veggies I mean.
I do hope that your surgeon can tell you more on what is going on.

I skipped one snack in the morning and I just drink my proteÔne shake as a snack between breakfast and lunch.
And I skipped my 9.00 pm snack.
Instead I eat half an orange as "dessert".
But from lunch until dinner I start to graze, I want something to eat around 4 pm.
And also without my mid day snacks I don't get enough calories in.
But I don't like the grazing though.
Could be an old habit coming back...

I totally get it. Well I hope all your tests come back well. I get it. Busy here too. All the holidays are coming, 2 December bdays, 1 January, and 1 February. And work has been super busy with all the hurricanes since I work in the insurance industry and our company is National. (We also have an International branch but I work only the US side.) I am so eager to hear about your surgery and your results. Wishing you lots of luck!!
    Grosses bises! Christie

Day 13: complications

by Sandra3 on 07-14-2019 at 11:56 PM
On Wednesday early evening, I had a friend over, we were walking in the garden when I suddenly had a really acute belly pain. Was so weird! It started around 6PM, when I was drinking water.

My last small meal was at 4 PM, dinner at noon etc..so I went first to the ER next to home, then after two hours, since they were doing nothing, I remembered my surgeon wrote his mobile number on one of the script, so I called him.

I could barely talk the pain was so bad, he said

My rescue surgery

by Sandra3 on 07-03-2019 at 12:26 PM
After months of pain and suffering I finally got my surgery Friday, five days ago.

My sleeve was working fine and my weight great until (long story short for those who didn't follow) my monthly very heavy bleeding became so bad I became very anemic, got several issues from it, I got several infections in October, then from lung infections asthma started, then it became hell.

During a really bad series of asthma attacks I had huge pain in the chest on Nov 7, a few

Surgery on Friday!!

by Sandra3 on 06-25-2019 at 05:08 PM
After meeting with two new surgeons in May, I saw again one of those two on Monday, but at the same time also organized an appointment with an other "rescue" surgeon, but this time working in a private hospital.
Long story short, I always preferred going for public hospitals but couldn't cope any longer!!

When the fourth surgeon (public) said "it was going to be complicated and I needed to do more exams" ....then she said I was going to have surgery in October

Back on PPI-pain after 5 days...argh!!!

by Sandra3 on 05-13-2019 at 10:17 AM
So...I couldn't make it to 7 days! H2 was not strong enough...shame...

Early Sunday, reflux was so so bad I decided to go back on my PPI...and had to take 80 mg at first, it was soooo bad.

Today, after a long discussion with my friend (pharmacist) and an other (less interesting, he only talks about meds) with my cousin, also pharmacist, I finally decided to try an other approach.

Since my last research does show that the hernia is raising my stress level

Trying to stop the PPI...again...and surprise!

by Sandra3 on 05-10-2019 at 09:01 AM
On Wednesday, I realized that my GP was off on holidays, and since I was not going to wait until next week, I spoke to the nurse, and decided to give a try to the H2(Zantac).
It's been three days, I did lower my carbs a bit, but not that much...and surprise!!
6 pounds lower!!!
So I won't jump up and down right now since it has to be showing up several times on the scale to be "real" and not just water retention getting better...
But the encouraging thing :
