I will keep my fingers crossed that it will be "just" a virus!
Actually, I think it is, those things are really contagious.
I am glad your lungs are doing better and I sure hope that surgeon will do the repairs that need to be done very, very soon!
    Any chance on that?
You have waited long enough now!

Keep me posted, if you will, also on the "no snacking, still getting enough calories and stay in moderate carb range" thing?

    That is weird...
    Those veggies I mean.
I do hope that your surgeon can tell you more on what is going on.

I skipped one snack in the morning and I just drink my prote´ne shake as a snack between breakfast and lunch.
And I skipped my 9.00 pm snack.
Instead I eat half an orange as "dessert".
But from lunch until dinner I start to graze, I want something to eat around 4 pm.
And also without my mid day snacks I don't get enough calories in.
But I don't like the grazing though.
Could be an old habit coming back...

I totally get it. Well I hope all your tests come back well. I get it. Busy here too. All the holidays are coming, 2 December bdays, 1 January, and 1 February. And work has been super busy with all the hurricanes since I work in the insurance industry and our company is National. (We also have an International branch but I work only the US side.) I am so eager to hear about your surgery and your results. Wishing you lots of luck!!

Veggies or no veggies...

by Sandra3 on 04-12-2019 at 02:46 AM
Katrina made an interesting post about apples a few days ago, I will share my last experiment with veggies. So weird....I don't know what's going on!

Before the sleeve, I had a hard time eating veggies, because my kind of IBS couldn't stand fibers, so I was limited in my choices.

Post sleeve, for some mysterious reasons, I was able to eat many more veggies!! My IBS was almost gone!
But a few veggies I liked and could eat before sleeve with no issue (cruciferous:

Ready? go!! exercise starts in two weeks!! yeah!!

by Sandra3 on 04-01-2019 at 04:33 PM
I had my one month post-op this morning (hysterectomy to stop hemorrhages)
so far I'm doing great, still little pains but no more bleeding.

The surgeon seemed very happy about all the scars and cleared me to start (finally!!!!) my exercise routine in two weeks!! Counting the days!

Pathology report was good too. I'm very glad I did follow my instinct and went for the "full surgery" and not the conservative. Because the report did show several issues

I came back yesterday from the hospital, had my first surgery (partial hysterectomy) on Friday.
It took may be three hours but the surgeon did a great job, with the help of the Da Vinci robot.....and many other people...
It was tricky since adhesions are all over the place and it takes time to cut it all. But no more hemorrhages for me from now on!! What a relieve! He also made a repair on an hernia.

Since it was an endoscopy surgery, I'm still having the gas pain in

Hello friends!!

When I reached two years I was happy that my surgeon's goal/prediction was reached, I felt great besides a few hick ups...life was good...

My 3 years anniversary was a few days ago but I was in no condition to communicate. This time it's different.

I just came back from a one week at the hospital for tests, and since they asked me to stop the PPI for the tests, I became even more sick, my asthma was so out of control I had so see the pneumologist

Happy about gaining!!!

by Sandra3 on 01-12-2019 at 01:02 AM
Hello friends!!

On Wednesday, I was not that happy when the scale showed a 4 pounds gain. So grand total was 24 pounds, I could see it was spiraling, I usually never take cortisone that long and since I felt better decided to stop the treatment.

I saw the pneumologist yesterday, had tests, and she confirmed my lungs are healing!!
I gained back I liter!!! yeah!!! so happy for once about gaining!!!

But after the tests, she said she wanted to increase
