I totally get it. Well I hope all your tests come back well. I get it. Busy here too. All the holidays are coming, 2 December bdays, 1 January, and 1 February. And work has been super busy with all the hurricanes since I work in the insurance industry and our company is National. (We also have an International branch but I work only the US side.) I am so eager to hear about your surgery and your results. Wishing you lots of luck!!

Sandra, thank you much for your personal response. I started taking the Arnicare "Arthritis" tabs this past Saturday, not sure if psychosomatic but I believe I am starting to see some slight improvements. Going to continue to see how it progresses. I have a doc and nut appointment on 3/31 so going to discuss more with them regarding what is an acceptable way for me to add the tumeric into my diet. Like you said, maybe as simple as adding as a spice. My sleeve has not given me any problems so far with spicier foods that I love. Thank you again for your response and have a great week.

Thanks for your reply, I am already in touch with other surgeons. My health, except for managed high blood pressure is quite good irregardless of my weight. This is the very reason I did not get extreme about loosing the weight. I'm just too big now to move about comfortably and I am raising a special needs grandchild. I need to live longer and be happy.

I don't know why I was denied. I questioned the denial and after a few lame excuses I was told they would talk to the Dr. and get back to me tomorrow. My heart is on the ground

Hi Sandra3, thank you for your "welcome". I'm in awe of your courage as I stand at the very beginning of my new life. I have made the decision to have the sleeve. I am waiting on tender hooks to see if I will be accepted as a candidate. Best of luck to you on your journey!

31 months, 3 weeks post op arm lift and removal of fatty tumors

by Sandra3 on 08-14-2018 at 12:03 AM
Hello friends!

Those past weeks have been I've been focusing in trying to recover. It was unfortunate that we had several heat waves, at some point my scars didn't heal the way it should have and the nurse who came home decided to delay the removal of staples/stitches.
It's all gone since Wednesday now and it did help a lot with mobility. But unfortunately we can see know that I did develop 2 "dog ears" and time will say if it will go away or if the surgeon will need

30 months, arm lift and removal of fatty tumors.

by Sandra3 on 07-26-2018 at 03:05 AM
Hello dear friends,

I just had surgery two days ago. Left the hospital yesterday and feeling a little bit up right now but it's getting better each day.

I'm very swollen (arms and legs) but I can see very well that my bat wings are gone for good, no more skin flapping around or getting painfully stuck in sleeves!

The surgeon was really sweet and took his time to try his best to "repair" my legs so the surgery was longer than planned, he also

29 months, meeting my new/old plastic surgeon

by Sandra3 on 06-17-2018 at 04:29 AM
I had reconstructive surgery in my 20's.
I thought my surgeon had retired but he actually went back to work this year after a yatus so I made an appointment to meet him and saw him on Wednesday.
The very famous professor I saw in Paris in September was nice...but I think I like my old doc better..

It was a really interesting consult, and we decided on a date, and will take it from there...as my doc said : "you need the surgery, don't over think it, we will deal

Hello dear friends!!

Long time no see! I hope you are all doing great!! I must say I do miss many of you, but had so little time to do things for myself...hopefully Summer will bring more "me time"...with real time off!

Anyway a little health update : I finished the year 2017 at the ER for New Year's eve dinner. I was so exhausted for cleaning and cooking non stop for one full week with so many house guests, I didn't rest and the flu symptoms I got at the

23 months, reached my surgeon's "projection" and bracing for XMas impact

by Sandra3 on 12-22-2017 at 01:44 AM
Hello dear friends!

Sunday I realized that I reached the 50 kgs mark. It's basically what my surgeon was hoping for me to lose during the journey. It's done! (with a bonus!)

I have higher hopes to reach my own personal target and we'll see how it goes, but I'm very optimistic that being back in my homeland and with access to more nutritious food those good results will continue to show, for sure it's slow but heck I don't care, stalls have been really long because for
