Before I had surgery I lost 60 pds off of the diet my dr. gave me and by adding some light water exersize. After being denied, I have been on my Dr. diet for 6 months now and my insurance is finally being pushed again. However now that I know it's finally going to happen, I have started questioning my reasons for doing the sleeve. Information online says you loose 30-50% on sleeve and 60-80% bypass. sleeve you can still eat sweets, your body doesn't care, bypass you can't (dumping syndrome). so if the sleeve just tightens then why not do the less invasive band?
