I went in for the sclera therapy but when they went to do it the other doctor didn't know anything about it he had to call the doctor in charge to see how to do it..so when they did my EGD the doctor said my tummy was not stretched which it is he just didn't know what he was doing now the doctors office will not return my calls even after a 1 1/2 years out not even to do afollow up

You asked how much i can eat? Well 3 years out and Yes my tummy holds a lot more! But i had a very Tiny sleeve to begin with because i am VERY SHORT so i could only eat a few bites the 1st 6 months by a year i could eat about 5-6 bites and now depending on the density of the food, 8-15 bites! I can eat 1/2 sandwitch, or a 1/4 a hamburger. i can eat o 6-8 oz yogurt no proplem! Raw vegatables cant eat much too solid, the mushier the more i can eat. Meat is same way more solid it is the less i can eat. I worrie CONSTANTLY that i am going to keep stretching out my tummy till i get fat again. I dont know if the fear will ever go away, but maybe that fear will keep me mindful and on track with eating low carb! Good luck to you! Love Rainbow

Congratulations! Keep a positive outlook and I am sure you will do great. I am on day 9 and learning new things all the time from the forum. I have a granddaughter your age so I really feel old. This old body needed some new tricks and I feel better already. Have lost about a 1lb a day.

Hi everyone!!! I am new and just wanted to introduce myself! I just have the gastric sleeve surgery on June,30 2011. I am a 22 year old female and I live in NJ and had the sleeve done at Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx, NY. My dad use to work there and the staff was great and kept me calm. I have to admit the first few days were tough. But not I am getting through it and doing what I can to get to my goal. My starting weight was 303 pounds and 4 days later I am now 295!!
