Well it's been one month since my surgery already!! I am down 19 pounds. Actually I was hoping for a bigger loss but realistically this is good!! I am feeling pretty good most days. Finally got past being so tired all of the time. I am still doing protein shakes and cottage cheese is my friend. I love reading about the progress everyone is making!! YAY us!!

Well my cousin and I made it to Mexico and home!! Overall it was a good experience!! The hospital is nice and clean although small. The doctor and nurses were all very nice and professional. The hotel is fine, although a bit stingy with towels so you might want to bring an extra and wash cloths. The restaurant provided broth, juice and pop cycles whenever we asked and always with a smile. It was nice having nurses at the hotel who were available 24 hours a day.

I have my surgery scheduled for Fri Aug 14. I am getting little or no support or encouragement from my family. I know my husband would like me to lose weight and he hasn't said much of anything.
