We are slowly remodeling and when it's done it will be beautiful. Thank you for asking. I feel so much stronger now, but I am with you on the gym and weights thing. I swim and I still get winded. lol. How are you doing?

I'm with you on the weakness aspect and the mental one too. Also, what's with everyone on the blogs claiming they are feeling great??!! There are days I feel like I was hit by a truck and left for dead. I had been warned, but gave myself too much credit. I was doing really well introducing foods into my diet until last week. It was like my body just rejected the food. Every time I eat, it seems to want to back up on me. I have pain along the lower section of my stomach and I am having a hard time breathing again. I'm not sure if that is weather induced or not. Not meaning to complain, lol I just want to get to the 7 months - 1 year out feeling already. I guess that's not going to happen huh? lol

Hey girlie, it's been a while since I have checked on you, so wanted to drop in and see how your doing?

I am also having to learn to eat very slow and very small bites.. I'm able to eat practically anything as long as I do that. I've only lost 19 lbs as of today but I guess that's good.. I've also started pretty hard core weight training with a personal trainer 2 nights a week. I've only been 3 times since last Monday. I do throw up immediately if I eat too big of a bite or too fast. Otherwise I'm ok. I also do feel a weird hunger.. More like a burning in the stomach if I haven't eaten enough or in a while. Does anyone else have heartburn? I'm starting to get that pretty intensely once a day.
I'm glad to hear you are all doing so well too.

Afternoon girlie, you've been on my mind the last few days. I hope you are doing well.

    Hi Meagan,
glad you are doing better. I know the eating slow is hard for me also. I am trying to take things one day at a time and hope it improves. I know I am able to drink more water in each swallow than at the beginning.
  7. you might already be doing this, but try extremely smaller 'bites'. I dip my spoon in straight up and down, and lick the bottom off, that is my "bite". it takes forever, but I dont' hurt that way. good luck, I'm sure everything is fine, take it easy.
Let me know though what the PCP says, I'm curious about their opinion about the out of country op. These chicken Drs. only take 60% of the stomach I've heard while Mexico takes 80%. makes for a tougher start I'm sure, but better long term results.

I agree. I still don't have a lot of energy and still having discomfort when I swallow or eat. I have scheduled an appointment with my PCP for a follow up just to make sure everything is okay.
  9. Feeling alright, not quite as tired as long as I can at least get 20 gr protein and 2 gummie vitamins. I'm tired of the soft food stuff. It's a bit frustrating b/c I do actually feel hungry, and I've been so busy by the time I can find something that I "can" eat, it's hard to eat it slow. How are you??

    How are you doing?
  11. I have been able to eat most soups, with just the liquid, even if not clear as long as I sip them (basically dipping the spoon in and licking it). Popsicles, I have snuck some pieces of soft cheese for protein and I roll in around in my mouth until it's practically gone before swallowing. I have done the same with gummie vitamins b/c I've been weak from not eating. I can drink fruit protein & ensure active drinks a tiny bit at a time. usually takes 2 days to get down a whole small bottle.

Need to stop losing

by Meagan on 11-22-2015 at 09:28 AM
Any people out more than 6 months that can tell me how to stop losing? I'm still losing about a 1lb every 2 weeks, but still can't eat a lot yet (about 1000 cal max most days unless I try to eat extra 'junk", but still feel sick eating much of that).
I'm about 5 under goal (which was probably about 3 lbs too little), and really don't want to dip below 130, it's really skinny for me. I already feel like some TV hosts, like the boney blonde on dancing with the stars.

SUGAR!!!! Have you ever seen the daily Limit?!?

by Meagan on 09-16-2015 at 09:03 AM
It really amazes me how many grams of SUGAR there are in things, and I just googled we as women are only "supposed" to have about 25 grams a day!!! WHAT??? A can of coke has 39!! one cup of Yogurt has up to 19g! 1 peach has 13g!
THat seems impossible to stay under that amount.
I realize it says "added" sugar, so perhaps fruit doesn't count "as much"; but I can tell that my body craves more sugar the more I eat it.

The sugar is probably

4 wk stall @ 13 weeks(3mo)-how to break it?

by Meagan on 09-03-2015 at 08:55 AM
I'm not here to gripe about a stall, but I would like to know if there's anything else I can do besides what I'm doing to break it and get back on track to lose these last 10-15lbs.

I'm tracking all my food on MFP, hitting on average 750-800 cal a day. Yet I've tried a day or two a week of up to 1000 cal, using mostly nuts or meat to up the calories not junk, the past 2 weeks to see if that would "jump start" it, but it didn't affect up or down. I'm getting about 60 g of

1st major Jeans Shopping

by Meagan on 09-02-2015 at 03:17 PM
So I went to my favorite store (Buckle) and was going to buy some shorts and jeans b/c nothing fits in my closet, literally hanging off - with a belt. THe girl comes to help asks my size, and I said, I really have no idea at all. I picked up a size 30 (because I previously couldn't hardly squeeze into a 33/1x/14/16) and she said, "girl no way, that's way too big! Try these" Handing me 28s! I laugh, knowing she is CRAZY, or just being nice, I've not been in a 28... I don't think ever, even
