Hello all and thank you for your good wishes.... Well its all done and dusted.. operated on Friday 7th July everything went really well and I was discharged on Saturday 8th July.. The pain was not as bad as I was expecting atall the worst was the wind but just get up and walk around and honest it goes really quickly... I have to give myself an injection everyday to stop blood clots but thats easy... Im supposed to keep those stockings on too but I took them off on day three as im moving around quite freely now. Im coping with the liquids, it feels really weird when you take a sip and a second later you feel it sort of swizzle into your stomach that feeling is getting better everyday and I can actually sit and enjoy a full cup of tea already... My husband is my saviour though he has made me really tasty soups everyday since the operation using fresh veg and stock..MMm really not missing much... He is cooking chicken curry tonight though for himself and the lads ( both teenagers now) and it smells lovely but im not hankering for any atal... I can confirm without a doubt i have done the right thing going ahead with surgery...Pre op weight was 112 kg 41BMI after pre op diet I lost 9 pounds in 9 days...taking me to 108 kg 38BMI . I have just weighed myself today and i'm 106 kg hehe ... By the way Im not sure if its just UK but we dont get sent home with any multi vitamins....

Welcome to the board and congratulations on your decision to have the gastric sleeve. I have a few suggestions. For a clear protein, I suggest Protica Profect 50. It is a whopping 50 grams of protein in a 3.2 oz vial Protica - Detail For a really great tasting protein powder, I suggest Max Protein. You can purchase at GNC or online. SEI Pharmaceuticals To keep track of your calorie intake and measurements and weight. FitDay - Free Weight Loss and Diet Journal This is really useful when you think you've stalled on your weight loss. You can look at what you actually measure! This blog - theworldaccordingtoeggface She posts some great recipe's and suggestions. I was on clear liquids for a week, full liquids for another week, puree'd foods for a week, soft foods for a week and then slowly moved on to regular foods while still including the previous foods into my daily food intake. Just don't get ahead of yourself. Take small sips and then small bites. Don't be in a big hurry to eat whatever you want.
