Hi! I noticed your surgery is fast approaching and wanted to check in and see how you are doing? i'm 5 almost 6 weeks out and couldn't be happier. even with the emergency surgery i'm doing great. i had an emotional break down in his office yesterday as I was asking him what had happened to me that he operated twice and he was so supportive and kind. gave me all the time i needed. he said it's normal for people who have this surgery to be totally exhausted around 6 weeks. physically, emotionally, mentally so don't be surprised if it happens. i'm already eating most regular food anything that might be tough like all the meats he said to cook them in a slow cooker all day and they will be perfectly tender. it's funny seeing 1 meal i cook turn in to like 10. no kidding. doc said to try a baked potato with chilli from wendy's and it lasted me 4 meals lol. I just wanted to let you know i'm thinking of you and am here for you if you need to share anything. Take care,
