This weeks class was better, we talked about our diets post-op through eating regular meals. I liked the fact our homework was to make a meal plan for each of the stages. I looked at pinterest and found some really good ideas there and I also looked on the meal planning here. My downfall is I am good at these types of things on paper but where it comes to my busy schedule I always seem to fall short and revert back to fast food. I am wondering if anyone else has had this issue. Now that I am in my classes reality is setting in that I will have my surgery by May I feel like I am hungry all the time. I literally feel like my skin won't stretch anymore but I still think I am hungry. I know this has to be all in my head but is it because I will have a different life style (eating) shortly, or stress induced I don't know but I would like to know if I am the only one??

I attended my 1st class on Wednesday and I have to say it was a bit of information overload. They basically went over the types of surgeries and potential complications but towards the end the talked about how much food you would be eating and about sugars and carbs which surprised me, I guess it actually kind of scared me because I am a carbs person and knowing that I will never be able to enjoy a whole slice of pizza or hamburger was kind of discouraging. Of course I know this is the best choice
